Our internship program builds on this foundation. You'll get first-hand experience using Solana wallets, interacting with real projects on devnet, analyzing token data, and understanding what makes Solana’s design different from Ethereum or Bitcoin. By the end of your internship, you won't just know what blockchain is — you'll know how to work inside it.
Intro to NFTs
NFTs are more than monkey pictures — they’re programmable media, digital ownership, and the creative economy of Web3. On Solana, NFTs move fast, mint cheap, and power vibrant subcultures from gaming to generative art.
In our simulation experience, you'll learn what NFTs really are: unique tokens stored on-chain, often with embedded logic and metadata. You’ll explore how Solana’s compressed NFT standard makes collectibles more scalable and eco-friendly, and how entire communities are being built around JPEGs, generative art, and profile pictures with real social capital.
Interns will dig into NFT metadata, marketplaces like Magic Eden and Tensor, and community engagement strategies that help projects go viral. You might even run a simulated NFT drop or analyze a collection's floor price and social growth. Whether you're creative or analytical, this is your gateway into one of Web3’s most electric spaces.
Environmental Impact
Crypto has a reputation problem — but Solana is helping fix it. Unlike energy-intensive blockchains like Bitcoin or Ethereum (pre-merge), Solana is designed to be efficient and sustainable.
Because of its unique consensus design and low-energy architecture, a single Solana transaction uses less energy than two Google searches. That efficiency isn’t just a bonus — it’s a design principle. Solana’s carbon footprint is transparently tracked and offset through its partnership with Watershed, and the network is constantly evolving to reduce its impact even further.
